About Us

CORE VALUES

INTEGRITY

At ESI Property Inspection, integrity is an integral part of all I do.  I act in your best interest.  Always.  From the first phone call to the final report, you can count on me to remain honest, professional, unbiased, credible and ethical.

  • I will not offer to repair concerns I find during the home inspection.
  • I will not try to sell you additional, costly and often unnecessary home-related products such as home warranties.
  • I only refer local service providers whose services I would personally use myself; including real estate professionals, licensed pest inspectors, NEHA certified radon gas mitigators, mold & asbestos testing professionals, certified septic inspectors & EPA approved water testing labs.
  • I do not offer special promotions to those who refer my services.

     SERVICE EXCELLENCE

How I operate ESI Property Inspection is as important as what I accomplish.

  • I deliver a superior customer experience by concentrating on your individual needs before, during and after the inspection.
  • I encourage you to join me for the home inspection, ask questions about the findings and freely express concerns.  My goal in providing a home inspection is not just to point out concerns in a home, but also to educate homeowners about the home systems and proper maintenance.
  • I own and use the most reliable inspection and testing tools in the industry.
  • The finished product is a computerized color report with photos delivered the SAME day.
  • I am a one stop shop offering home inspection, termite inspection, radon testing and more.
  • I offer support beyond the initial inspection.  I will answer questions for as long as you live in the home.
  • I offer flexible scheduling 6 days a week.
  • I am always on time!  This should not have to be a bold statement, but unfortunately in this industry it is.
  • Every property is inspected as if I were buying it myself.  No quick walk-through or skimpy on-site report.

KNOWLEDGE

A home Inspector does not obtain a working knowledge of every system in a home by taking a few courses, buying a franchise or reading a few books.  It comes from field experience and training.  Neither warranties nor insurance policies can take the place of knowledge and experience gained from a hands-on education and I have it!

  •  I have 15 years experience in the building industry.  10 of which were in home remodeling with an emphasis on historic properties.  The other 5 on the commercial construction and development side as a project manager with over $400 million in management experience.  I bring professional experience that is not often found in the typical home remodeler turned inspector.
  • Certified Graduate of American Home Inspection Training (AHIT).  AHIT is the largest home inspector training program in North America.
  • Certified by International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI).  Certification #09082108.  This certification is not just a plaque on the wall, but rather a continuing education process with yearly critique and re-certification set to the highest industry standards.
  • Certified by International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants (IAC2) Certification # IAC2-01-7443.
  • I Passed the national Home Inspection Exam even before it was required by the state.
  • Fully insured including E&O and Liability.  My insurance also has Realtor Indemnity Clause.
  •  NACHI requires that I fulfill a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education each year.  I consistently log twice the required amount.
